Add Shortcuts to Microsoft Office and WordPerfect Toolbars

NOTE: Applicable for all versions of WordPerfect and for Microsoft Office 2003 or earlier

You can customize any toolbar or property bar in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and WordPerfect to have the shortcuts you want in the place you want them.

To remove a toolbar button, hold down the Alt key while you drag the button off the toolbar.

To move a button to another location on the toolbar or to a different toolbar, hold the Alt key while you drag the button to a new position.

To add a button in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
 - right-click on the Toolbar and select Customize from the pop-up menu.
 - In the Customize dialog box, click on the Commands tab.
 - Follow the instructions in the dialog box.

To add a button in WordPerfect
 - right-click on the Toolbar and select Edit from the pop-up menu.
 - In the Toolbar Editor dialog box, click on the Features tab, and select a category from the Features category list.
 - Then select a button from the Features list and click on the Add button.
NOTE: In WordPerfect, you can even add features that are not on the standard menu, such as Edit - Undelete and File - Close without saving.

To restore an Excel, PowerPoint, or Word toolbar to its default setting

  1. Right-click on the toolbar and select Customize from the pop-up menu.
  2. In the Customize dialog box, select the Toolbars tab.
  3. Select the name of the toolbar to restore and click on the Reset button. Confirm by clicking on the OK button.
  4. Then click on the Close button.

To restore a WordPerfect toolbar to its default setting

  1. Right-click on the toolbar and select Settings from the pop-up menu.
  2. In the Customize Settings dialog box, click on the Reset button. Confirm by clicking on the Yes button.
  3. Then click on the Close button.
